Mayflower Montessori is open 6:30am to 6:00pm year-round to serve parents that are working full-time. We are closed on federal holidays.

A Typical Day for Older Children (Preschool and Kindergarten)

6:30am - 8:30am Before School Care. Breakfast* is served until 8:00am.
8:30am - 11:00am Preschool/Montessori Session (includes snack).
11:00am - 11:30am Free play time (inside or outside, depending on the weather).
11:30am - 12:00pm Lunch.
12:00pm - 1:00pm Clean-up time / play.
1:00pm - 2:30pm Extended Preschool/Kindergarten Session.
2:30pm - 3:00pm Afternoon snack and reading time.
3:00pm - 6:00pm After-School Care.

*Breakfast food is provided by parents. Milk is provided by Mayflower.

A Typical Day for Younger Children (Toddlers)

6:30am - 8:30am Before School Care. Breakfast* is served until 8:00am.
8:30am - 9:00am Potty and clean-up time.
9:00am - 10:15am Preschool/Montessori Session.
10:15am - 10:30am Snack.
10:30am - 11:00am Free play time (inside or outside, depending on the weather).
11:00am - 11:30am Potty and story time.
11:30am - 12:00pm Lunch.
12:00pm - 2:30pm Nap time.
2:30pm - 3:00pm Afternoon snack and clean-up.
3:00pm - 6:00pm After-School Care.

A Typical Day for Infants

For our infants, we use an on-demand schedule to ensure that each child's specific needs are met. Children are fed when they are hungry and are put to sleep when they are tired. For more details, please see our Infant Program page.
